I’ve loved hair and all things beauty for as long as I can remember. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to get my cosmetology license before I graduated high school, and I’ve been in this amazing industry ever since. My specialties include balayage and all things color.
The quickest way to my heart is telling me alllll about your pets! I have 2 pups and they’re the best! Another thing I love is music. I wasn’t lucky enough to get any musical talent, but I love live music. You can find me at DTE (or Pine Knob, whichever you prefer =D) most weekends in the summer.
As a 14 year industry veteran, Mandi is one of our go-to color experts at Alfieri Hair Craft. From bright, platinum blondes, soft "bronde" balayage, or vibrant bold vivids, she is a master of all things color. In addition to color and cuts, she is also certified in two separate extension methods. She craves a good challenge, welcoming her guests to bring inspiration photos to their appointments. Her ability to recreate any look while addressing the individual hair needs of each client is definitely her specialty.
Mandi is also a licensed Cosmetology Instructor and spends much of her time sharing all of her hair knowledge with the Future Professionals at Paul Mitchell the School Farmington Hills. When not working, you can find Mandi catching a movie or exploring downtown Detroit on her bike.
After making a huge career change and following her passion in 2007, Shilo quickly excelled in the hair industry. Her ability to understand the individual needs of her guests is what sets her apart. She has a passion for the science and the "why" behind hair, especially when it comes to color. She spent 3 years as an educator for an Italian color company, where she taught other stylists from around the world advanced color theory and technique.
As master stylist and manager at Alfieri, she is probably most known for her grey coverage color techniques and her short hair cutting. When not at the salon behind the chair, you can find her out and about in Farmington or at home with her husband, daughter, and multiple pets.
